Hi all,
I am a TW newbie and I ve got a question:
Starting as a pro with 75 ability level over all I earned some Trophy Balls and now my putting level is 80. Are there any other possibilities to improve the ability level? Does it relate to the difficulty level?
Thx for your help |

everytime you play, you gain experience points, use them to move the the slider ( in your atttribute section) to increase ability (on all shots ). you can only move slider ahead is by having experience points |

Ok, if you start as a hack you can gain experience points and improve your abilities and hopefully youll take part in the pga tour. If you start as a professionell (all abilities are set to 75) can you improve your ability rating? If so, how?

... as an Amateur, over time and events, you build up your attributes ... you eventually progress to the EA & PGA Tours ... theoretically, you are then a Pro ... the Pro vs Amateur designation at the beginning is nothing more then starting with a character that already has skill (Pro player start with all attributes at 75, and they are locked there) ... |

thanks for info gunpower. However, are you sure you are locked if you start as a professionell? I am now at 80 for putting after earning a trophy ball for a 50 foot putt.... |

Some Pro players have slightly more than 75% on the slider of the EA sports interface/ Attributes. I chose Ian Poulter as an example, you can see the Power at the top is slightly more than 75% You can also see there are no arrows to adjust the Attributes on the Pro Player.
In the game tournaments, having 100% attributes spoils the game a lot as you can hit the ball-> Miles. For On-Line Multiplayer 75% is good enough. Recommended for on-line play www.gameranger.com its free and has a very easy to use Graphical User Interface. |

earlier version - either 06 or 07, think it was 07 -did have a glitch where a pro player would go over 75%
but not in 08, was fixed |
