Well, to all those waiting for the CA and UK patch...here is the official message I just received from EA Support....says it all really! I have included my mail to them to provide relevance to their response. I am rather perplexed however to their response regarding both the CA and UK patch! Im sure it states on the patch site that the UK version will be made available shortly?

So, it appears the only way we will get improvement for TW07, is to make a stink about our dissatisfaction in the EA forums....

Hello,

I do apologize if you took my previous reply to you as being offensive or unconstructive. I just spoke with somebody who works closely with the Tiger Woods development team in regards to these issues and Ill do my best to answer each of your questions as accurately as possible here.

1. To my understanding the Course Architect feature was not hyped up prior to the release of Tiger Woods 07 because it was never intended to be included with Tiger Woods 07. The truth is that somebody simply forgot to remove that information from the readme information prior to release. The patch that was released for the North American version simply allows players to use the course architect feature that was availale with Tiger Woods 06.

2. Again, to my understanding there is no plan at this time to release a patch for the UK version.

3. Unfortunately in this case our hands are somewhat tied here. Weve forwarded this information along to the development team but the simple fact is that a large outcry on the forums is much more likely to catch their attention and encourage them to take additional action in regards to this. My previous answer was designed to encourage you to do so and to advise you as to where these comments are best directed. Lastly Im even more limited by my inability to offer you any sort of compensation for your aggravation. Unfortunately the only incentives or coupons I can offer are restricted to the EA Store which is only available to North American customers at this time.

Perhaps I was not being clear and concise enough for you to understand.

My questions (as in two previous mails) are as follows:

1. Where is the CA07 that EA SPORTS themselves, advertised with the game, both prior to release and in the readme file included on the DVD?

2. Where is the UK version of the patch that EA SPORTS suggested over a month ago, would be released Shortly?

3. Where is the customer service at EA SPORTS? There appears to be none.

In summary, I found your reply to be unconstructive, unprofessional and totally irrelevant to my questions. EA SPORTS have totally ignored a customers request for information which shows total apathy for its clients.

It is clear EA SPORTS show no interest in their customers by this consistent answer and solution avoidance and I am offended that I for one, am being subjected to such attitude and response.

Customers keep those selling, selling. It is worth keeping that in mind, but then again, as individual customers, we are nothing more than the little people, it seems.

Your last response took 4 days to reach me, that is 3 days more than your promise (and I use that word loosely where EA SPORTS are concerned) so let us hope you can respond with shall we say, a little more haste this time.

Customer Support for the pc version of the game appears to be almost defunct now, which is a shame as in the past Ive always had satisfactory dealings with them, and its almost as if Europe dont exist anymore, thought it was too good to be true when we got the game first this time. :)
