| Ok, I installed 05, so i could use the ca, what i need to to know is how to i get the new courses that i make into 07, and how can i use 07 lib in 05, also how can i get the course in 05 in 07?, Thanks for all your help |

since I am around, I will try to answer this one....
05 courses in 07, their are issues.
#1 05 Stock Courses uses the Tiger Tees, so if u play the back tees you are teeing off from the weeds
#2 The Panos will not work in 07, you will have blank back drops on the 05 courses
#3 The Galleries will not show up in 07, unless you know how to flip out the CLS, and use the new format
#4 The textures are designed for 05, and will look really bad in 07
07 courses will not work in 05, but 05 course should run in 07
You need to install all the 07 libs (TCL Files in to 05)
a) You can make copies all TCL files which are in the course folders and zip them up and install with Jordens 05 Installer
b) You also need to do the reverse and install all of the 05 libs in to 07.
c) Dont forget about the Architect Libs aka Misc Structures, Buildings, the Arch Lib, and a few others, they need to be installed in to 07.
After that you need the Cloaker Tool to cloak some of the libs in 05, you can only use so many libs in the CA, before the program crashes it self and than you need to re-set it by clearing out the swap files.
Next you need to make sure all the libs are installed for the courses you make in both games 05 and 07.
Once you complile the 05 course, you will than need to install in to 07.
For the most part all of the old pano will not run in 07, you need to use one of the newer 07 panos, or else figure out how to lower you landplot big time, to use the old panos.....
I dont really know, but I think most of the designers who are doing 07 courses are using the 06 CA. The 06 CA and 05 CA, are a little different.....
For some one new just starting this, I would say because you are using 2 games to build these courses, it is a little harder to figure out, but once you get the hang of it, you should be good to go..... |
