Hi
Just got into this site very good may make a donation soon
here is my problem though I could not find any FAQs on this
with the downloaded games My buddy and I both have
hesisant,, frame by frame, and jumpy game play,, we cannot
even play,, takes a while to load in-between holes,,
the courses that came with TW06 are fine,, loads fast works great. are we missing some files that make these downloaded courses, play better
could this possibly be the video card i have a Radeon 9200 128MB older card
but works good with the installed TW games
I went to options in the game went to best performance and tried some other settings in there nothin... courses we have downloaded
are way to hesitant for us to enjoy we need some help quick
oh also when I went to the tutorials for bugs and that
there is nothing there thanks for any help to get us playing soon Rick |

Hi bro...you need to install. course architect 06 to play custom courses in TW06 game.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For TW2006, EA bundled several Architect Libraries with TW2006 Course Architect program that are needed for playing custom courses. In the past these libraries came with the game, however in 06 they were bundled with the CA program.
You can download course architect 06 on this site.
Above shoutbox you will see: Utilities......inside select game: tiger woods 2006....click go....and choose: course design tools..
Download and install course architect and required files will be automatic added to TW06 game. |

thanks I have the library and the architect in my program now,,
shows up how does it work with the new courses I added do I need to manual do something..
but the game itself is still slow and jerky to where it is to hard to play lague I guess
I do not understand how the architect works with games that are loaded it is for designing courses
correct anyway still the same these did not seam to help any other suggestions

windows XP pentium 4 3.0ghz actually 2 processors,, hyperthread
they call it,, I think PC is a dell dimension 3000 512 memory
sound card is,, soundmax digital audio,, basic card
what drivers do you need to know about ? thanks hope to fix this soon
cannot play these downloaded courses Rick |

No need to do something manual after installing Course architect. Only reason you had to install course arch. is : Course architect added (automatic) required libraries to TW06 game .
Another thing you can do is: Run Easy Info tool of EAsports.
On link below is some help how to run Easy Info.
select and copy link...and paste in your browser:

ok I did all that you said gunpower... update video driver, what happens still
in the game the game play ,,progresivly gets worse as the game goes on
started out ok thought we were onto something... hesitates bad
I still am having the problem its getting tome thanks if you have a next step Rick |

I am also wondering if I have some programs running
in the background causing this problem,,
need to fix it soon my system is not slow with other games
and programs thanks |
