Ive reinstalled the game at least 5 times, followed all the tips on EAs help site, and still get the error message d3dx9_28.dll is missing when I try to start the game (either from icon or start menu). Any ideas? Does EA still provide e-mail support?...couldnt find it anywhere.

That file looks like it may be associated with DirectX. Try installing DirectX either from your TW DVD or go to the Microsoft web site and download the latest version.
