| I've installed in to TW08 an Arnold Palmer player as downloaded from TW08 utilities. The photo does not work on my computer, it's invisible or cloaked. However, so far the player shows up as an opponent in-game. Ideas to fix welcome. |

Hello usb, maybe you forgot to add a file in the game, not sure though.
This how to add a player:
For Example player Abraham Ancer
----------------------------------
You want to install custom player: Abraham Ancer
After you unzipped the downloaded zipfile:
Copy the folder: Abraham Ancer....and paste it in folder: Players
MyDoc/Tw08/Career/Players
After that copy the file: Abraham Ancer.plr
And also paste it in folder: Players
MyDoc/Tw08/Career/Players
After that copy the 3 files:
Abraham Ancer.aia
Abraham Ancer.hal
Abraham Ancer.cal
And paste the 3 files in folder: Ability
MyDoc/Tw08/Ability
Note:
XP users: you can find mydoc on your desktop
Win7 and Vista and Win8 and Win10: on desktop look for: User ( or username )
Inside User ( or username ).....you will find: documents

Hello, and thank you.
Everything installed correctly, just like you say.
Within the Arnold Palmer player folder, resides a TGA file called "photo". Pretty sure this is the file that displays a player face in the game menus, etc.
On my computer, this TGA photo does not display within any TW08 menu. The hexagon where you click to choose this particular player is blank.

Hello USB,
Yes the creator of the player added a dds file i noticed, you have to do 1 extra step.
Download the zipfile i attached here, unzip the zipfile and you will see a file named: arnoldPalmer
And paste the file arnoldPalmer inside the players folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Players |
