Recently had to get a new computer. Got TW08 up and running (win 11) but I noticed while playing that the grass blades blow back and forth at 10 or 20 times the speed, as does the pin flag. (like they're in fast forward speed)
Is this common? The trees/shrubs blow at normal speeds. It's just the grass blades and flag. Same for stock and custom courses. |

You don't say anything about your frame rates. What are they running at? |

Good call Steve.
As Dancamp said in the shoutbox: To get the frame rates, tap the R letter on your keyboard.
You also have to enable the framerates in the ini file, see my second post ( July 10, 2020 at 3:47:05 PM ) on this link: http://coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=11025&forum=11 |

It varies wildly. The menu screens hold steady at 60 fps but on the course the FPS ranges from high 90''s up to 150+
(I just used Nvidia''s in-game overlay that gives me the FPS) |

Maybe its worth to set a maximum frame rate, just to see if you still have the same problem. You can set a maximum framerate with nvidia control panel, you can also set a maximum framerate for a game you choose from the list:

I'll have a look at that.
In the meantime, here's a youtube link to an 8 second video of what it looks like in-game:

Set the game limit to 60 fps. The blades are the same fast animation but the swing meter is now all jittery. Don't think the fps is the issue. |

I''m on Win10 and had very fast frame rates (over 100) to begin with. Used Dxtory app at first to set max frame rate. Now, I just use the Nvidia Program Settings and set the TW08 program to a max of 35 FPS. Works fine for me on TS Control Method. |
