Hi,
after making game changes for TW2008 to run under Win10 in widescreen resolution @1920x1080, the game works fine (without in-game videos), but all courses appear to be too dark in the 3D world, so I need to make a gamma correction. In the game options there is no function for this apparently, I also didn''''t find anything useful in the render.ini file.
With my NVidia control panel I can change the desktop color and gamma, but there is no way to change it for a particular program - in this case for TW2008, or yes?

Has anyone done a gamma correction for the game, and how to do it?

And BTW: Is there any way to make the in-game videos working once you have applied the widescreen patch?

Thanks,

Hello XenonSurf, i don t know how to adjust the gamma correction.
But did you try to set shader level to low in TW08 ?

Not sure it will help for this problem, but you can try to set shader level low ( or medium )
Start TW08 game......go to: Options.......Graphics.....set it to manual settings.....and set: Shader level: low ( or medium )

Thank you Gunpower, I will try to change various game options and do what you propose with the Shader Level. I have set all what was on AUTO to Very High obviously thinking my modern card can handle it, but maybe this is the wrong thing.

When the shader level is set to high then some structures can show up as black, and also water reflections will be gone.
The high settings for the shader level works mostly fine for the stock courses, but not for the custom courses.
So best settings for shader level is low ( or maybe medium )
