Hi folks
I just dusted off TW 08 to play Ken McHale's excellent Augusta '08, as I invariably do during Masters week.
In the past year I added a second SSD to my machine and all my various games are now on here, except for TW which I installed on the HDD and iirc was a bit of a bear to install on this Win10 machine so I think I will leave it there. The HDD is my D: and is now in an enclosure which allows me to hot swap and power it off when not in use.
It works fine, loading the game from D: when I switch the drive on, but I noticed Augusta was missing from course options. After a file check with Caddie, I discovered for some reason Caddie thinks the Augusta course and other Augusta files are all located on E: (my new SSD). I don't know why this is the case as I never installed Augusta there - it is on D: with everything else. I tried to manually change the drive letter at the front of the file path to D:, but Caddie would not save the change either with Apply or OK, it just said files were missing still. It also could not uninstall the course, presumably because it was looking for the files on E:
In the end the only way I could get it to work was to copy the files to where Caddie thought they were on E:, but I wonder what has happened here and is there any way I can fix it properly so Caddie sees the files in D:?
Also, it's been a while since I played with the game - where are my career files stored so I can back up? Thanks! |

Hiya Alex,
When you open TWCaddie08, and on top go to: Options.....properties
There you should be able to change the installation path of The libraries and courses.
Normally TWCaddie08 will automatic create a folder: Courses....and a folder: Libraries, inside the Tiger Woods installation directory.
Not sure but i think, when you install libraries and courses on another drive, then TWCaddie08 can t uninstall the libraries or courses anymore.
Then you will have to delete the courses and libraries in the registry, but you have to be familiar with that.
Your career files are stored in Documents:
In Documents you will find folder: Tiger Woods PGA Tour08, take a backup of that folder now and then.
