I had to replace a failed R9 290 card and opted for a RX 580. I am unable to find a suitable driver to play this game. The only drivers that I have tried that will play the game have distorted rendering in the panorama.
If anyone has a 500 or 5700 series card and can play the game I would appreciate letting me know the version driver you are using.
My only option I have at this time is to play the game on a second computer with an older card.

graphic cards with nVidia chip sets are much better. also an older
driver, released no more than a few months older than the card. |

Not sure it will help, but did you try to run TW08 in compatibility mode ?
Right click on TW08 start icon, and choose: Properties........and on top choose: Compatibility
Now check the box: Run this program in compatibility mode
And in the box a bit lower choose: XP ( service pack 3)
And hit: Apply

| I have tried compatibility mode no change. The driver have will play the game fine except for the rendering of the panorama. I never play stock courses but decided to try one with a stock pano and it plays perfectly, pano rendering perfectly. It appears I might have a corrupt file. I have only tried a few custom courses so I don't know if the problem is on all custom courses. |

Yes the panos are different on custom courses, compared with the stock panos in TW08.
The custom courses are created with Course architect06, and the panos are a bit resized to get them to work in TW08.
So its possible you can see the panos in the stock course, but for some reason the resized panos are not rendering correct on your graphics card. |

Thanks for your replies. I finally did find a driver that played OK. Played two custom courses and no trouble with the panos. Hope it continues never know with video card drivers.
