I'm an ok golfer on TW08. I can hit a fade or draw, slight or full-blown, pretty much at will. I've been playing TW08 since...07 I guess! One thing that's bothered me - on some courses, if there is a hazard like water (mostly) around the green, say on the right, and you hit a slight draw at the right edge of the green (calm conditions), the ball goes right, and into the water. Experience has shown me that you damn near have to aim on the left and hit a draw to get it on the green. My question - can designers make that happen? Certainly not on every course, only some. Just wondering how much, if any, control the designer has over the play of the course. Thanks and good golfing

No, the designers can only change 1. the contour of the ground and 2. how the ball reacts off the ground but only if they made their own textures.

Thanks, Bobby, I've enjoyed your courses, most recently Royal St. James 2019. Maybe I'm the only one that experiences the "pull" of water - just like my real golf game. Thanks again for the information.
