Once You have created a complete season and you click on the Save button, where is the folder located that the CE saves your created season to? Can Your created Season be backed up? Let's say I created a PGA Tour Season and completed playing the entire season that was created. I now want to create a new season using the European Tour Schedule. When going back into the CE I assume that I would have to first delete the PGA Tour Season that I just completed, to now create let's say a European Tour Schedule. It would be very convenient and save a lot of time if one was able to backup both created seasons that once they are played to completion they could be reintroduced from a backup folder back into the CE without having to recreate an entire new season every time you finish a calendar year. I do understand that a new player must be created with every new calendar year that is played.I also assume that when you create a new player at the beginning of each new season that is created, the name has to be different than the one that was used in the previous completed season? So what is it with all the stats that are recorded for the current calendar player,if they are only valid for one calendar year?

I am not a specialist, but i think it is like this:

Once you save your career it will be saved in this file:
---------------------------------------------------------
PGAEdit.gcf
just create a backup of PGAEdit.gcf, that''s the custom season file editable by the CE

Once you click on the Create PGA button in the CEditor-Helper08 window, then it will be saved and created in TW08 in this file:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PGAUser.gcf

You can backup and find both files here:
--------------------------------------
Go to: C:\Users\User\My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Career\gcfs

PGAEdit.gcf
PGAUser.gcf

Note: When you replace the PGAUser.gcf with another one, then you will have to create a new pro player to use the new Season.

I think that after you get done with a season and you wanted to use the SAME PLAYER you would delete events from the CE using the button at the bottom of the page and add all new events. I would save as suggested above before the surgery, but this should do the trick. Make sure that all courses are loaded in the game and you should be good to go. I'm pretty sure that when you want to replace a course in the current event is when you have to use that function of the CE Helper that Jo Summer designed. Let us know if this works as I would be interested as well. I'm a long way from my second season so it would be hard for me to give you step by step directions.

Thanks to both of you for this information. I will experiment with the CE in doing this and keep you updated in how this works. It would be a great time saver if one is able to backup and use several created seasons without having to totally recreate existing seasons from scratch every time you start a new season.
