| Hi all. My name is Michael AKA skoville. My wife and I play TW07 all day, literally. We would rather play TW 2004 but gave up tring to get it to play. It installs but won't start. Believe me, I've tried everything, but the one way that works. No, the disc is not damaged. So we're stuck with TW 07. We're dying to try the courses here. They look fantastic. Have followed install instructions and all seems to be installed but the added course, Spyglass Hill, does not show in the game course list. So close, need a hint. Not the dumbest hammer in the bag, but need advice. 1st thing in the morning isn't 'good morning', it's 'did you get it ? Can someone please assist? These look great and being retired this would go a long way! |

IMPORTANT: On Win7 you have to run CLsetup07 as administrator:
Right click CLsetup07 icon on desktop.....choose properties......Compatibility.....and check box: Run as administrator

Best way to install courses and libraries in TW07 is to use automatic installer CLsetup07.
First download CLsetup07, you can download it on link below:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/details.asp?id=619
( or go to section: Utilities....Utilities and files for TW07....Course installation tools
When you downloaded the clsetup07 zipfile, first extract or unzip it, and you will see a file: clsetup07-1.0
Dubble click clsetup07-1.0, and CLsetup07 will be installed on your PC.
when you installed CLsetup07, you will find icon on desktop.
Important when you are using win7 or Win8 or Win10 or Vista:
Right click CLsetup07 icon on desktop.....choose properties......Compatibility.....and check box: Run as administrator
Now you have to create a new folder on your PC, yYou can create it where you want, but not in TW game.
I created new folder on my desktop.
In this new folder you will have to download the course zip file+ all listed libraries zip files.
( no need to unzip the downloaded files, CLsetup can handle zip files )
When you found course you want to download:
On left side you will see:Coursedownloads.net ( Click on it to download course )
On right side you will see : Library name.....with list of all required libraries.
You will have to download all listed libraries on the right side, click on each library name to download.
( Example: when you have course + 5 listed libraries, you will have to download 6 files.Course file + 5 libraries )
When you downloaded course+libraries in new folder:
Dubble click CLsetup icon on desktop and popup screen will appear...in this popup screen you will have to browse/find the new folder where you downloaded course+libraries.
When you found: First dubble click all library zip files, agree with all questions and libraries will be installed in TW game.
At last dubble click the course zip file, agree with all questions and course will be installed in TW game.
Important note: You also use the create myzip feature, then you will have the course and all libraries in one zipfile. Just install it in TW07 with Clsetup07

Just curious as to why you wouldn't graduate to TW08? There are courses being designed for it all the time and the last 07 course was designed almost a year ago.
With Jo Summer's Career Editor Helper 08 you can make lots of custom career seasons as well.
There is plenty of help here whatever path you decide to go down. |

Yes as Kelly said in previous post, maybe you can upgrade to TW08.
