I've come back to TW08 and started playing again. An issue I found a few years ago is still happening and I thought I'd see if anyone here has a solution.

When trying to host multiplayer rounds, two of the players cannot see each other when joining the game. As the host, I see all 4 players - or more if a scramble. If I start the game, the last of the two players with issues to connect is dropped. For a stroke round, we can continue without the dropped player. If just one of these two connect for a round, we have no issues.

My host PC is in the DMZ of my router so port forwarding should not be an issue. I've tried to host with a different PC, same issue. Another player (neither of the 2 with issues) tried hosting but the 2 still had the problem.

One of the players changed to a different golfer but we still had the issue.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hiya Bill, i don t think there is a solution yet for the problem.
I believe a lot of people are using a third party program called: Hamachi
A few sites in our Community links section are playing each other with Hamachi.
Or you can try to set up a game on Gameranger:
