Thanks in advance for your help!!
PS, love all he courses!! I am running on my laptop, but graphics card does not do the game justice.

Do you want to stay with a laptop for playing the game on? I would suggest not but I understand the whole ease of use issue.
If you want to stay with a laptop I can't help. I don't know that much about gaming on laptops. I just know that it didn't work for me. If you want to go with a desktop I may be able to help a little.

Hello, when it is a new computer then it will probably run on win10 or win8 ?
There was a problem with the AMD Radeon graphics cards for TW08 on win8 and win10, but people found a workaround how to get it working.
So with the workaround you should get it to work on win10 or win8.
But to be honest i think it is a better option to use a system with an nvidia graphics card, but it is not 100% guaranteed it will work on win10.
A system on win7 64bit should be no problem for the AMD Radeon cards though.

I found it's going to come down to the processor speed. I have 8 GBs of memory and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 (2GB). You would think I could run any course seamlessly, but I have to either choose the lowest settings or turn the 3D graphics off (grass, etc.). The problem has to be my processor which is an AMD Phenom 9600B quad-core. It's only a 2300 mhz. It's gotta be that.

Many times its the combination of the two. Do they work well together? Sometimes you don't find that out until after the fact. Be aware that getting a SSD instead of a regular HD will be drastic in performance. I switched to a SSD and I was amazed at the boost in performance reaction times. Most cannot afford a high GB SSD and opt for a smaller one, put your OS in it and your programs, then all of your data can be stored on the high capacity older HD technology. I did about a month of research before I built my current PC using mostly used parts.
