Application is not compatible with installed operating system. Please upgrade to windows 98SE,Windows 2000 or better.
I just got a new pc. I had TW08 working properly but now ..........
When clicking on Shortcut on desktop. Get above error message.
I have it set up to run as administrator.
I right clicked on desktop icon, and perform compatibility trouble shooter, run as administrator, still get error message above.

Hello Mike, not sure why it is suddenly not working.-, are you on Win10 ?
Below is detailed help how to run in compatibility mode:
Automatically Change Compatibility Mode Settings for App in Program Compatibility Troubleshooter:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right click on TW08 icon on desktop, and click/tap on: Troubleshoot compatibility
Click/tap: Continue
Then click second option: Continue troubleshoot program
Now choose option on top: Try recommended settings
And click: Test program
Now TW08 should start, when it started close TW08 again
Now click: Next......and choose the option on top: Save the settings for this program
After that TW08 should work.
Important note: When you do the compatibility thing, it is possible your system will say it will not work in compatibility mode or TW08 will not start, but just finish the steps above and restart your PC and it should work !!!!

Thanks for reply. Yes am using Windows 10, 64 bit operating system.
I will give it another try. Yeah am confused as to why it happened. Last week played a round thru launcher with no problem. Only thing that did happen was on par5 course at golf 4 fun site the graphics display froze on both my old pc and the new pc .

Make sure that you install the game with admin-rights for All Users. Also the admin-rights for the TW2008.exe should be set for All Users on Windows 10.
Right-Click setup.exe ::> properties ::> compatibility ::> change settings for all users ::> tick "Run this program as an administrator"
Windows 10 is a pain in the ass when it comes to legacy software. Perhaps a new update was released and messed up things. KB3194496 as example was released a couple of days ago and killed x-thousands of systems. |

Thanks, Gunpowder and Jo. Yeah, believe your right about KB file messed a lot pc's.
I got the TW08 to run after performing a file fix up with the Registry using RegCure Pro program.
