Hiya Lyle, unfortunatly it is not possibble to do that i am afraid.
With texmod people can create clothes and things, but i don t think you can use texmod to modify structures. |

further
you need the original/designer's library file to edit/alter any of the elements in the library
you also need the original/designer's course file to edit/alter the libraries used,and any library element's in it
in both cases, the 'new' library or course file should be renamed to avoid conflict with the originals |

Yes this is possible. Any texture in the game is given a code number you can replace it with texmods. You can make the tree's purple if you want. You can replace any structures textures in the game. You can change course textures, change the pano. Whatever you want to change you can. However you CAN NOT CHANGE THE MESS or DESIGN of the structure.
The fringes have always been an issue with the stock courses, I have taken them out, granted they are multi textures two tone, so you have to be careful getting the right texture out of it. Did this on Royal Orleans, with the Kiawah lib. Also did it with the National in a lib that was never released.
If I ever have the time will create a fringes lib for 07 & 08 stock textures...

Hyno, correct me if I at wrong but aren't there fringes for stock courses in TW08x lib or are they an issue also? Can you expand on what the issue is please? It would be useful for future design releases.

TW08x lib is not the actual textures but a personal blend of color matching.
When you look at this stuff in TEXMODS, you can see that EA Sports Libs and courses use a different style of texture work and they do overlays, which we can not do in the CA.
Going to do three pictures of St. Andrews 07 as an example in this post.
#1 Is the actual Stock fringe
#2 Is the EA blend from fairway, fringe
#3 Is the actual Burn
When you pull these from Texmods make sure you save them as TGA files, the example here are .jpg files
