and thanks to all those who helped but it's still weird, game operates fine and all but weird things in the Documents folder as you see in the screenshot with duplicate, triplicate, and in some cases quadruple copies of my players used over the years, and yes not only do I see them in the Documents folder I see them in game when clicking down my list of players?
The other weird thing is even the plrs that I installed when I re-installed the game on 9/2/2016 on the C drive, have properties that associate them with the E drive, so totally confused with this thing.

looks like the main player - per screenshot - is an E: drive one
odd
have you looked in the Documents folder on E: drive?
are they also there
make a copy of the docs folder on C:
delete all the duplicates
if the game and players still work well - fine
if not, might have to replace them (i''d try one by one to see who the culprit is)
OR
if the main player(s) are all associated with E: drive
then delete the custom players on C:
so that only yhe stock players are there
recreate custom players wanted on C: as Pro player - exact same name
close game
copy all the player Ability folder and Career folder files (Player folder AND player.plr) from E: and paste them to C:
make sure confidence folder is fixed too as read only

Thanks for the input JB, but here is something very interesting or stupid not sure which. While checking the drives I noticed that in the C/users/name directory there is NOT a my documents folder ???
It's no wonder everything is defaulting and running from the E drive and the problems that I am having geeez. I have included a screen shot of both drives users/name folders so you could see what I mean.
So my question is, is there a way to make another "My Documents" folder for the C drive?
Any help would be very much appreciated, and thanks for the help up to this point!

Hello Don, in Win7 there is a tool so you can easy transfer folders and documents to another drive.
( So with this tool you can try to move your documents from E to C drive )
Warning: Some people had problems after they did a transfer to another drive.
On the bottom in the link i provided you can read replies of people who tried it, maybe good idea to read the replies first.
So you will have to decide if you want to try it or not.

Thanks Pat, I will read these replies and see if that is what I should do or not. I also have a backed up file on an external hard drive that has the my documents folder included WITH my players, so maybe I could just make a new (my documents) folder in C drive and empty the contents from the external hard drive? Does that sound like it would work??
Not sure how the registry would respond after creating a new my documents folder, but?

Hiya Don, your last post method won t work, the registry entrees will point to wrong target.
When you want to move your my documents, then you will have to follow the steps on the link in my previous post. |

I can get it to C/USERS/OWNER/? because I don't have a "My Documents" folder in C as we know, so just point it the file location that contains other personal files such as My videos, My music, My pictures, or just make a new folder and entitle it "My Documents" in the file path C/USERS/OWNER/ and point the destination there? Or?

Hiya Don, yes i think the best thing you can do is to make new folder and entitle it "My Documents" in the file path C/USERS/OWNER/ and point the destination there.

Ok everything worked out great Pat, with relation to moving the My Docs folder everything is where it should be, although I don't have a My Documents in E drive now but it's ok, appreciate your time and effort.
@JB, thanks JB deleted multiple players and the game works fine and ONLY one player per name in game YAY!! So appreciate your time and help also sir!
