When you go to the installed coursename folder in folder Courses in TW08, then you will see a folder named: CLS ( inside the coursename folder )
When you remove that folder CLS, then you will lost the galleries but you will also lose eye candy like birds etc....
So a better option is to replace that CLS folder with a no galleries CLS folder.
This way you will lose the galleries, but you will still have birds etc....
