I am unable to print the score card using windows 10, I had no trouble with windows 7.

When I try to using "Print Screen" on my keyboard all I get is the EA Logo.

Any suggestions ????

Hello Bill

I am using win8 64bit and it was impossible to take screenshot of TW08 with printscreen key.
I installed a third party program Fraps and got it working.
Didn t test it yet on win10, but people say it works on win10

Fraps: http://www.fraps.com/

Easy to use:
Install Fraps.....run Fraps...and minimize Fraps to desktop.
After that start TW08....and Hit Key: F10
Screenshot will be saved in: C:\Fraps\Screenshots

I downloaded the Picpick program and installed, but have yet to see where it saves a screen capture to. I have seen that it basically does a copy to the clipboard, but there has to be a way to just copy to a folder somewhere, right?
This seems way hard for an upgraded OS! :-(

Some more info about Fraps, i read you have to run Fraps as administrator.
On desktop right click Fraps icon....choose properties....on top click: Shortcut......and then on bottom click: Advanced
And check the Run as administrator box, and click: OK

most screen capture programs work the same way - the image is saved to the clipboard, then it must be SAVED to a location AFTER you paste it into Paint or some other image editing program

FRAPS and some others add that step automatically - saving it to a folder you set, or use their default location

PicPick looks like it has an autosave feature - check the documentation, help files, website - should tell you how it works there

Howie's Quick Screen Capture...program/softwear...works great for me...hot key(F12)will put screen shot into a folder that you create on your desktop. Needs to be on/running in back ground!!!

I have tried all the suggestions given and cannot print the scorecard using "Print Scrn" on my keyboard.
I know of at least 5 guys I play with have the same problem.
It worked fine in Windows 7 for all of us, now when we hit Print Scrn on our keyboards all we get is the EA LOGO or just the desktop.

Has anyone any idea as to correct this.

We have tried Fraps and Howies, they just don't work

Thank you

Hello Bill,

For a lot of people this method works:

When you are in TW08 game and you want to take a screenshot:

Press both keys together: Windows logo key + PrintScreen
( windows logo key should be on your keyboard bottom left....and Printscreen on top right )

Now the Printscreen pic should be automatic saved here:
C:\Users\User\Pictures\Screenshots

Another way to find the automatic saved pic: on desktop look for folder: User (or your username).....inside you will find folder: Pictures
Inside folder Pictures you should find folder: Screenshots.....where the saved prinscreen is saved.

The pic are automatic saved as: .png
When you want to save it as jpg:
Right click the .png pic, and choose: Open with....and in the list choose: Paint
Now you will open the pic with Paint......on top left choose: File....Save as....and save the pic as: JPG

You will find some more info here:

Hello Bill,

When you are in TW08 game, on your keyboard hit both keys together: Ctrl + Esc
Now you should go to desktop, and on bottom of desktop in the taskbar, you will see the TW08 icon.
Go with your mouse on the TW08 icon ( don t click on it ), and now above the icon you will see a small preview pic.
Now go with mouse in the preview pic ( don t click on it ). Now on your desktop you will see a much bigger preview pic.
Now my question is: Do you see in the bigger preview pic also that EA Sports logo, or do you see what you actually see in TW08 game ?
When you see in that bigger preview pic the same as you actually see in TW08 game, then i know a way how to take a perfect screenshot.
When you see that EA sports logo again in the bigger preview pic, then we are stuck.
So after you replied i will give you more info how to do it.
( i also added a preview pic to give you an idea what you should see )

Hi Pat, sorry to say I get the TW LOGO only. Man I thought we may have won it this time but I'll see what you can find out as I'm completely stumped.
Anyway Pat, Thank you very much for all your help, it is greatly appreciated.

WIN 7 has a ''''snipping tool'''' located in the Start/All Programs/Accessories/Snipping Tool. I found this about WIN 10. Windows 10 has also a Snipping Tool option with which you can Capture a snapshot of any happening on your screen. The snapshots are saved as PNG formats, but it also gives the option to save it as GIF, HTML or JPEG format. good luck.. ed http://www.howto-connect.com/windows-10-use-snipping-tool-capture-screenshot/
UPDATE: scratch this one.. I tried and was unable to open tool while TW was running on the desktop.. :(

I don't have Windows 10 but I've been using Howie's for many years. I also have Snagit installed. Has more options but for quick screenshots, Howie's works best. Just remember to start it before you start the game.
