I am opening this topic for support and questions about my new MOD release for the TW07 game
You need to 1st load all the files in to the correct folders
Than you need to launch the game from texmods
Backround:
Over the last 10 years have created different players in the Tiger Woods game, most are PGA tour PROs. When Texmods was released in to the TW game, decided to fully stock up the players. In this Mod have created hundreds of textures for the game. From Taylormade Drivers, Cleveland Wedges, Bubba Watsons driver, to Rorys 2014 British Open outfit to Jordan Spieth, 2015 Masters gear. Classic players like the 1989 Greg Norman with his outfit that he wore at Royal Troon, to Bernard Langers 1993 British Open outfit. In this Mod you have a lot of custom players / outfits and equipment. Some players like Phil Mickelson come with more than one outfit.
You also get hundreds of .dds game face files which are used in the game.
Tried to create icons in the game so you kind of know what you are getting. Martin Kaymers driver from 2014, just has the icon SLDR but it has his orange driver shaft. So the other SLDR picture is the stock Slider Driver with the stock shaft. For Example pictures of Thomas Bjorn, means it is his gear. Zach Johnson or Marc Leishman and a few others are the same.
White Belts? Yea even have those?
Even on the stock players have made changes like Tiger Woods, has his Sunday red and the Black/Red shirt which was used in the 05 Game.
All the players are unlocked with a lot of money and abilities set some what like they play.
Once in a blue moon a texture will load over the skydome in the game, if the game looks weird just exit out and re-start.
The custom players can be used to play as or play with, every once in a while the "artificial intelligence", is messed up. The players are hacks if this is the case let me know the player and I will fix the AI, and re upload the .hal, .aia, and .cal files.
The program can be buggy, when you are switching textures, for each change to see what you get, you need to exit out of the player and load another player and than reload the player you changed or just load them up in the game.
Because this Mod is always changing, may re upload the file every once in a while. |

When I started this texmod project two years ago, had to pick what game to use. For many reasons felt that the 07 game was a better game besides the water issue. This has to do with a few factors, the splash screens, circle .dds pictures in stead of computerized golfer pictures. The interface of the game. You don't get the dark structures or even have to use the 02 LC. It was easier to create and work with custom players. In 08, you do get better putters, drivers irons, and more choices in the clothes department. Graphics wise 08 may be a tad better, but in HD they are pretty close. Now if someone can figure out how to make the water render correct we have a very strong golf game.
This entire project was to make this game peak an interest and fun again. What I have done with the custom clothes, custom shafts/clubs and custom golfers has done it for me personally.
For example I was watching the 2012 British Open, and really liked Graeme Mcdowells outfit he wore in the 2nd round, so like yesterday created it and added it to my Mod. (I have not uploaded the revised mod yet with this new outfit)
When Victor Dubuisson played Jason Day in the Match play finals was like that would be a cool outfit so it was created in this Mod.

| Here is Graeme Mcdowell, now on him, he is the only player were I texmoded his face, if you go in and change his clothes, clubs or whatever you lose the custom face. Any kind of change alters the texture used on his face and changes the code for that texture. |
