When in TW08 you go to menu: Play online
Then you will see 2 icons:
Lan
EA sports Online ( Globe icon )

Since EASO is down for years now, the EA sports online ( Globe icon ) is not working anymore.
Sometimes people click on the EA Sports online ( Globe icon ) by accident instead of the Lan icon.

It is possible to remove the EA sports online button in TW08
Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Intro\MainMenu

Now inside folder MainMenu....you will see a file named: Online_icon.dds
Now right click the file ( Online_icon.dds ) and choose: Rename
And rename the file Online_icon.dds ......to: Online_iconold.dds

Note:
1. you can rename the file to anything you want, as long as you change the name it is ok
2. It is possible you will see: Online_icon.... instead of: Online_icon.dds (On some systems the .dds is invisible )

When you restart TW08 now, the EA sports online button will be gone, so you can t click on it by accident anymore.
Important note: When you click on the empty spot where the EA sports online button was before, then it will still try to start EA sports online.
