I downloaded Windows 10 (stupid me) and after some tinkering, I got TW 08 to work, by switching to Admin and using compatibility. BUT, I can join games in Game Ranger, but cannot host games. When I try to host, and pick a course, I get a message that says the course is not available and may be in use. Anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone have an intelligent answer? Does anyone have Windows 10 and is able to host games on Game Ranger? I know FlaCapt1 is able to join games and play there, just not host a game.

It was a little joke at the time...don''''t get bunched.

There''''s probably 3 or 4 threads around here about this. Also, make sure your router is opened for port 16000 for Game Ranger. You may also want to install GR on W10.

You may also need to enable DMZ on your router.

You can also try to delete the folder: EA SPORTS online
Some more help below, this info was provided by one of our members:

For some people that get booted out of the game, weather it be game ranger hamachi or any other online gaming site that you play tiger woods game:
There is no need to have the EA sports online folder it can be deleted al together.
The folder is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\EA SPORTS online
( Note: Not all people will have the folder installed, when you installed TW game you had the option to install it yes or no )
I see people getting booted and found that if deleted it goes away for the most part.
So when you have the folder EA Sports online, you can delete the whole folder.
It only served as a portal for the EA server, since it no longer exist you dont need it any more.

I know it was a little joke daflyboys. Couldn't you tell my post was also? Guess not. Its difficult from type written responses. Anyway, you did come up with a couple ideas that I appreciate and will pass along. You could have put those in your first response, after the joke. LOL. J/K :)
