Have you selected the Properties menu and clicked on "Run as Administrator"? Just a thought. Don't know if it will work. |

Hello, do you have the runtime error when you try to start to play a custom course, or you receive the message when you try to launch TW08 game ? |

I think you are running TW08 in compatibility mode now. I selected XP ( service pack 3 ) in compatibility mode, that works best for me.
Not sure it will help but worth to try: Go to the icon you start TW08 with. Right click TW08 icon....choose: Properties......Compatibility...and below Compatibility mode... in the box select: XP(service pack 3) And click: Apply
When it is not working in XP(service pack 3) compatibility mode, then you can try to select Win7 or Vista in the Compatibility mode box, maybe you will have better result with Win7 or vista. I think it is worth to try.

Did you try to run TW08 as administrator ? ( see huskereurocat post a bit higher ) Right click TW08 icon....choose: Properties......Compatibility...and on bottom check box: Run as administrator....and hit: Apply |

Not sure what you can try more. I think you said you got it working for some time, maybe you can try to uninstall TW08 and try to reinstall ? |

Just a side issue to win 10. The BBC today said that win 10 checks and removes any "pirated files" and could possibly contact the rights issuer, not that I would at any time have any such files on my PC to worry about! |
