| I have read several posts, one here and some on other sites, with people saying that they can get TW06 to install and work on windows 7 64 bit. I have tried and tried, but just can not get it to install and run correctly. It shows as installed, but will not start. Anyone have any ideas? Please help if you can. I really love this game. |

You can try two things:
Step 1. Run TW06 as administrator:
Go to the TW06 icon you start the game with. Right click TW06 icon, and choose: Compatibility..and on bottom check box: Run as administrator and hit: Apply
When TW06 is still not working also try step 2
Step 2. You can try to run TW06 in Compatibility mode:
Go to the TW06 icon you start the game with. Right click TW06 icon, and choose: Compatibility
Now check box: Run this program in compatibility mode
And in the box below it choose: XP(service pack 3)
And hit: Apply
When it is still not working: Do you receive an error message when you try to start the game ?

| TW 06 works fine on Windows 7, I have had it installed for years on two different PCs. Sounds like a video card issue. Do you have a proper video card that will run the game, and if so you might need to update with the latest drivers. Or the problem could be you need to manually switch graphic settings to force the game to utilize your video card. One thing to try: open your video card control panel and switch your nvidia physx processor setting from auto-select to your video card. I had to do this a while back with a game I installed, it would not run until I did. I have had no problems with the game since. |

I have it installed on Win 7 Pro 64 bit.
You could have a bad install, make sure all files are there , go to Computer/ OS C / right click chose open / Program files ( x86 ) EA sports / Tiger Woods PGA tour, double click and view if al files are present.
If not clean the 3 cd`s, uninstall via the control panel and reinstall,i think it`s the 3rd cd that has to be in the drive for the game to run |

| I had it installed on mine and it worked great. Then I installed a new video card and the game started but the course displayed nothing but white on the course. Decide at that point I run 2008 and everything works great. My gut says it's the 3D drivers used with your video card. All the suggestions I read here is pretty much it. |
