Has anyone ever had the issue of playing someone and seeing their ball land by the hole when it actually goes in, and does it quite frequently, like 3-4 times in 4 games? I have seen this in the past with a few. Some have re-installed their game and it stopped... Just asking for opinions about this, I know it isn't an isolated issue with just our group... Thanks, FordGT40 |

Can be common in multi player games
each game on the PC "guesses" how the shot ends up based on the data received up until it draws the screen
any server or internet lag, no matter how small, can effect this as does each PC's cpu and graphics power
what the game on each PC ends up recording is what happened on the shot taker's PC, and you may not know that until the scorecard draws |

Yes, we see this often. Not that frequently, like multiple times a game, but here and there. The worst was when my opponent hit an ace and I saw his ball land just off the green. Would have liked to see it. |

this has been an issue with a lot of peeps my conclusion is that it might have something to do with the Kensington mouse works I have a friend I play with in England who uses Kensington and when we started playing the golf club there was no issue with this the next day or so he installed his mouseworks form Kensington and all the sudden we started with the same as in tw 05,06,07, and 08 . what most called it an ea glitch or internet issue now we have something else to look at , whatever it is doen't seem right . who really knows have fun hit the ball straight and hope that putt falls |

highly unlikely since it also happens to players who do not use kensington or similar software, ie like 3clickers
not sure how mouse software which controls dpi, x and y axis stability and other mouse controls or effects could have anything to do with one person's game displaying one result and another person's game displaying a different result
YET both scorecards after the hole ends show the same thing |

The Kensington Mouse works _PC-622 once installed does hold the Y & X axis of the Mouse on a 100% straight Line , by pressing the assigned key on the key board and as far as I know is only compatable with a 32 bit OS and PS2 port mouse. |

I don't believe its a glitch or program error, my slant for this is it is information loss via whatever server prog u use to link the games. This happened all the Time on TW12 online game. If the internet was sound & true we wouldn't have other problems either but alas this is the age we are in at the moment. I too would love every one to see every Holeout. |

This is true but these "EA shots " as termed above also happened when the Main Electronic Arts server was running as well, that''s the EASO / TW 2008 server |
