Hi, Creating a flat fairway texture seems fairly simple, import the file and choose fairway then export out.
But how does one create a rough texture with actual polygonal grass blades on it?
Thanks! |

I am not sure but I am sure I could tell you if you post a screenshot of the grass blade properties as well as a screenshots or similar of the texture for the rough as well as the texture for the blades |

The problem is with the settings for the grass effects texture. It should be marked as "Other Terrain Texture" and the only other setting you will want to apply to it is "Allow Gallery To Stand". Also for curiousity, why a pure black grass blade? |

On the "Terrain Texture" do you apply the grass prop blades to it?
What's the settings for "Grass Effect Textures"?
Thanks!!! |

Here is a basic guide on the entire step by step process to doing a bladed texture with the library creator. Hopefully this will cover any questions and get you on your way. |

A couple questions-
-If I save the photos I'm using for the Terrain and Effect Textures say on the desktop, then import it into the Library Creator does it make a difference?
-My images are saved as 600x600 TGA's. (divisible by 2). Does that seem right?
When I hit CREATE LIBRARY this is what happens- I attached the photos. I get those messages then it saves. The last photo marked number 5 is what it looks like inside Course Architect!
Thanks for the help!!!! |

I don t think 600x600 is ok. I believe it must be power of 2 : power of 2 = 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512....etc....
(; Note: power of 2 is: 2...4...8...16...32...64...128...256...512...1024...2048 ) |
