When you first open Library Creator where do you pull the textures from? Can you access EA's textures or textures from other courses? Is there a way to expand a stock library and pull the tga's out and all?
Or does everything have to be made from scratch?
Thanks!!

Hi, i don t know much about the library creator, but we have the manual for the TW05 Library creator. The TW06 library creator manual is the same as the TW05 library creator manual. You can find the manual on link below:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/details.asp?id=670
Or on top of page go to: Utilities....Utilities and files for TW05...Course design tools |

I did actually get the 2006 manual I believe, but it says nothing about where to start from.
Just seems like you start from scratch in a Paint program?
Thanks |

You need to created the texture image in a graphics program of your choice. It needs to be saved as a tga and the dimensions need to be in powers of 2(8 bit). Then you save them to a space on your harddrive and add them using the dialog box in the Library Creator |

Thanks! So there is no way to "re-use" existing textures from the game and modify them?
My first texture (just a small 400x400 red box) with the standard rough grass poly blades applied crashes when I try to play the course. Any idea there?
Thanks again! |

power of 2 = 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256 etc |
