Do not use any TW 2005 panos ! The Course Utilities tool ships with TW-2006 or you can down load it from here. I look at courses i have down loaded , then if i like a Pano on one of those course i install that 1 Theres even courses with no Pano ! |

tnt, when your in the CA go up to the tool bar where it say's Tools, click on that and towards the bottom of the drop down, you will see where it say's Panorama Properties, click on that an it opens up a box with the pano's that you have loaded..

"Thats what I do Axe but if I load say Bali or any of the ones Ive downloaded tw 08 crashes when I load my course.Hope you can help as im at my wits end.Cheers mate." | 1 ? Have you got TW -2006 Installed and TW - 2008 The courses are built using the Course Architect Tool, this cannot crash TW 2008 surely! The CA short for {course architect} has a swap file folder , all files in there can be deleted before the start of a new course or even when working on one. When the Librarian in the CA is clicked on all files will be rejuvinated.
I suggest start by using the CA and make 1 hole only , make it simple to get used to things, if you use the CA Wizard a complete hole is already done for you, but the fairways can be quite wide unless adjusted. Make 1 hole then compile it.
The Course Utilities tool has to install Libs/Panos from TW 2008 to the correct directory, just forget now ? may be Axe can step in here , the TW-2008 has a windows registry label of ? some thing like TW 08 ~ 2 and TW 2006 ~ 1 , i think . Also {Stylar } is some what of an Expert on this ! I try do a vid of the CA in use all ready done one on shot path for doglegs, which is here, in the TUT`s download section Here http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/details.asp?id=811 |

Ok will do Axe.Its not crashing anymore, but if I install a pano as you guys have told me some dont show up in the camara and the odd one that does just shows up at the very top of the camara. But no matter which one's I put in the CA none show up in the game.I allways save the course then conpile it before I leave CA then into game and no pano's.Cheers for helping. It was so much better and easier in Links,if you can remember that game,it was the bees knees at the time,I created many courses and uploaded themI really enjoyed it,but this is doin my skull in. |

2 things tnt. 1. only custom pano's will show up in the game..
2. when you have a custom pano installed, while your in the CA, that is where you will see it, in the top of the camera view..
3. When I open the CA and change the pano, i always move a tree a little bit before I compile, otherwise, It doesn't change the pano..

Sorry, dont know how to form a grammatically correct sentence... |
|
You need to compile in Windows XP to see the pano. I apologize if that was already said in this thread. I didnt catch it when I skimmed through, though. Maybe that will help? |

Windows XP Mode and Windows Virtual PC Run Windows XP programs on your Windows 7 desktop Windows XP Mode is available in Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate).
the above is useful for running the CA and compiling in Win7 depending on what version of Win7 you have |

If you need it compiled, I'm sure there are many people that would be willing to do it for you. I can't guarantee it won't take me a couple days but I'd be happy to try to help. |
